Michaela Rees, Director & Company Manager

Hi, I am Michaela. I was born in Australia, and I have lived in South Africa, the UK, Spain and Gibraltar. This means I can use my own personal experience and knowledge to help my clients who also travel and work abroad. 

I have worked in tax planning for the past 20 years. I set up my own firm in 2006 and gained quite a lot of clients with cross-border issues so there was a natural progression to Company Management in Gibraltar. I also have a proven background in Financial Services and Law. This unique skill base enables me to provide strategic planning for our clients here at Knightsbridge. 

I base a lot of my advice on my own personal experiences. When I deal with clients I am able to empathise from the “first-person” perspective. I realise that a lot of what I do is about the experience that my client has during the process so I work very closely with them building familiarity and strong bonds. The more I know about my client and how they work, the better I can make their experience. I invest this time to know my clients as it makes the rest of our working relationship much more efficient.

Claus Olesen, Business Planner

Hi, I’m Claus. Danish by birth but I have worked for over 30 years in the financial industry in Gibraltar. I love a challenge and new businesses face many. As a company manager at Knightsbridge, I am in a unique position to work with our clients on a personal level.

With my experience in banking, combined with my colleagues, we can quickly identify, discuss, assess and move to make formal recommendations. Being a small firm ourselves we know what it means and how much it means to be efficient. 

Knightsbridge is unique because we will not proceed with incorporation if it is not the right solution for our client’s needs. It is imperative that our clients fully understand the benefits and potential pitfalls that a corporate structure in Gibraltar can offer. We complete all of the paperwork for our clients and we aim to respond within a timely fashion to any communications. When we send off a proposal we provide clear advice in writing without the jargon.

Sabrina Traverso, Personal Assistant

Hi, I am Sabrina and I’m Gibraltarian. As a local who has worked here my entire life, I have knowledge of the legislation and culture in Gibraltar. I am the personal assistant to the Directors, and as such, I have a very varied job and I do a bit of everything. My position allows me to work with every member of the team and all our clients; which I love.

I have a strong background in Marketing and have worked in the Property industry for 10 years. This has allowed me to extend my network and learn many skills which I have brought to Knightsbridge.

There are many things that make Knightsbridge unique. For example, after the initial application, all the mundane, time-consuming work, is done by us. The team are driven and hardworking and we all, especially the Director, have a refreshing outlook on work and life.

Hi, I’m Mark. Having been born and bred in Wales, UK, but travelling extensively worldwide I have eventually settled in Gibraltar. Gibraltar is perfectly placed in Europe and is at the forefront of the global financial services, tourism, E-gaming and DLT/Defi industry.

Gibraltar has much to offer for individuals and families too and has a rich cultural history, but with a very forward-thinking attitude. The lifestyle here is perfect for families and with family leisure time being integral to family life, there’s something to keep all the family entertained.

I’m originally from South Wales with a professional background in Online Gaming. I have spent many years developing my career in KYC & regulatory compliance and I relocated to Gibraltar from Dubai in the Summer of 2017.

I began my career with Entain Plc (then GVC Holdings) in Customer Services and KYC and then continued my training in Compliance. Fast forward to early 2022, I took on the role of Compliance Officer at Knightsbridge Incorporations, focusing on Internal Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering.

Aside from my role at Knightsbridge I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children, taking full advantage of what Gibraltar has to offer.
